[MEME] WWW WEDNESDAY {June 2. 2021}

Hello, lovelies! ☔️ is 10pm here where I live but who cares! Time to post WWW Wednesday – which I haven’t done in awhile now [seems that’s my tag line!]

What are you currently reading?

• Wild Hearts by Spencer Spears: I’m half way into the book and I’m enjoying the story. I’m a bit confuse in some things but I think is because I didn’t pay attention on chapter one. But, I do like Declan, I hate Connor and his stupid attitude – not because you’re out and proud it means everyone is equally comfortable to do so, leave your brother alone! Emory is there for the ride. Mal is a cinnamon roll (◕‿◕✿)
  Mood: give me small island romance and happy ever afters
• SWAT Ed.: Fox & Bull by A.E. Via: I have been reading this book for two months now! I read the entire series in a week but this one is taking me forever. I’m barely 16% into the book and while I like both Fox and Bull – no, those aren’t their real names 😀 – the story is so slow, nothing is happening!
  Mood: give me some action, I’m dying here!

What did you recently finish?

I just read Hot as Heller by Lucy Lennox. This is book three in one of my favorite series of hers and I really liked this book. I do have to admit I was struggling with Finn’s passive attitude, he knew the crow around him was toxic and how even his mother did not treat him like a grown up but at the same time he did nothing and that drove me insane! I wanted to shake him, but I’m glad he found someone who treated him like a grown up and accepted him completely.

And lastly, what do you think you’ll read next?

Oh, I’m so excited for my next reads! I have two books:

• The Bride Test by Helen Hoang: I have the audiobook but today the book was on sale for I believe $1.99 on Kindle and I had to get it because e-books are my thing. So, I will finally get to continue the wonderful world of Helen Hoang and maybe read about the characters from the first book (づ￣ ³￣)づ
• Song of the Forever Rains by E.J. Mellow: I’ve never heard of this author but today Amazon Firsts had this book and I HAD TO GET IT. The book sounds amazing, full of mystery and treason and I’m here for it!
