Hello, lovelies!🦄 I hope everyone is having a wonderful day ♪~ ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ I have wanted to do a fun post about ALL the books I own but haven’t read yet -physical, audio and ebook- and just show them and go over them. I tried making it like a fun game so here it goes ~(˘▾˘~)

First, I would like to say I divide my physical books as follows: on the left shelf are the books I have already read and on the right are the books I need to read.
I will include only those books which I have spend money or were gifted. I will not include Kindle Unlimited books because those are books I can return at any time and I don’t spend money for.
I will not count in the total books I have multiple copies of. Just one of those copies will be valid.
Show me the number of books you own but haven’t read yet

Total: 86 {which wow! I thought it was about 60 no more ಠ╭╮ಠ}
Show me a classic you know you own but won’t read EVER
I have mentioned this before but I own Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. The one I own is part of Penguin Classics Deluxe Edition which is stunning! ⚆ _ ⚆ But, the book is damn depressive, 1304 pages of war, depression and it may include romance but is one I’m not invested in finding.

Show me the shortest book you own
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry which is 93 pages.
Show me a book you’re not sure you will like
I will say Black Orchid by Vaughn C. Hardacker. I started reading this one, I’m actually on page 14. The writing is very old school, very descriptive and since is a thriller/mystery I feel it drags in some parts. But, I’m just into page 14 so maybe it will surprise me!
Show me a book you think will be a 5 star
Ten Things I Hate About the Duke by Loretta Chase. I absolutely LOVED book one and I have high expectations for this one! I’m sure from all the books I haven’t read, this will be top and a 5 star.
Show me a book that was a gift
Red Notice by Bill Browder was gifted about 4 years ago by a coworker who read it and loved it. This is a nonfiction, political, crime/finance book which I started reading one day while I was organizing my books. I didn’t get pass page 2 but the writing was very intriguing and I’m looking forward to read it.

Surprisingly and because is a series: The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare. Let’s be honest, I WILL NEVER read these books. I outgrew them and the only reason I have them is because the edition I own costed me a lot of money and is gorgeous. I did read book one, I though Jace was a prepotent, obnoxious idiot, the sibling plot was horrible, and the only thing that kept me going was Simon, Magnus and Alec – when he wasn’t up in Jace’s ass /oops!
Show me the book(s) you have owned for the longest time
On the Way to the Wedding by Julia Quinn since 2015. I love this series but for some reason I don’t know why I haven’t read this one yet. I have read and re-read the other books in this series but not this one – I’ve heard is one of the best. Maybe this year I shall finally read it.
Show me an author you have been looking forward to read
L.M. Montgomery writer of Anne of Green Gables – I absolutely loved the TV show and I want to read the series so much! I hope Gilbert is as lovely as he was on the show.
Show me a book(s) you started but haven’t finish

Show me the series you own
These are the series I own and haven’t completed or read at all. Some I read the first book(s)
- Air Awakens by Elise Kova – 2 books
- Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson – 3 books
- The Girl at Midnight by Melissa Grey – book 2&3
- Daughter of Smoke and Bones by Laini Taylor – book 2&3
- Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery – all 8 books
- The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater – 4 books
- The Riyria Revelations Series by Michael J. Sullivan – all 3 volumes (read only book 1 of volume 1)
- Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling – books 5, 6 and 7
So, that’s all folk! ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ I want to read at least half of these books this year – my goal is to go down to 10 books (which will definitively include those I don’t plan on reading: Les Miserables and The Mortal Instruments Series but let’s see!)
