Hello, lovelies! 🎭 Happy Thursday, I’m back with another bookish tag. I love doing tags, they are always fun ~ this is the Anti-TBR tag, don’t be offended please by any of my choices – everyone has different reading tastes.
A popular book EVERYONE loves that you have no interest in reading?
I have many, many books on this list but Crescent City by Sarah J. Maas is one I have no interest in whatsoever. I’ve seen it everywhere – and when I mean everywhere, even on my GoodReads timeline. The cover is stunning but I just don’t see any other appeal to it.
A classic book (or author) you don’t have an interest in reading?
Victor Huge. The only book I know of this person is Les Miserables which funny enough, I own. But I don’t know why I bought it, wait… yes, it was a cover buy #noregrets or maybe, #yesregrets ¯_(ツ)_/¯
An author whose books you have no interest in reading?
John Green. There is just something about his book that doesn’t attract me. I feel most of them are sad, or just lonely people being lonely. Or just overall people dying ಠ_ಠ
A problematic author whose books you have no interest in reading?
I don’t keep myself very up-to-date with authors and their problematic behaviors. I know there are a few things about Rainbow Rowell because of her book Eleanor & Park, I should be more up-to-date with authors 🤔
An author you have read a couple of books from and have decided their books are not for you?
Sarah J Maas and her books – sorry but pass. I did enjoy her ACOTAR series but after reading the third book in the series I just found her less enjoyable to read [plus, I grew up and her book genre no longer interests me].
A genre you have no interest in OR a genre you tried to get into and couldn’t?
YA – I don’t read YA anymore. I may read one or two books a year, but other than that, I have no interest in the genre, I outgrew it.
A book you have bought but will never read?
Les Miserables once again, bought it just because it was part of a collection and the cover is gorgeous.
A series you have no interest in OR a series you started and have DNF’d?
I have three answers here: The Selection, Fifty Shades of Grey, and The Mortal Instruments. Started both The Selection and The Mortal Instruments, hated/disliked both, won’t finish either of them. And will never, ever, read Fifty Shades.
A new release you have no interest in reading?
The upcoming books by Cassandra Claire? I mean, how much can she stretch The Mortal Instruments World?
B&G (currently on hiatus) 
I read Cresent City for a buddy read. That will be my first and last book by Sarah J Maas!

I would never read fifty shades either and I so agree that john green’s books have that depressing lonely vibe that made me stay away from them for so long 😂
