[MEME] WWW Wednesday {Oct 7. 2020}

This meme is hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

Hello, lovelies! 🌈 I haven’t done this meme for more than a year now 😖 which sucks because I always enjoy when I share it.

Basically, we have to answer three questions: What are you currently reading, what did you recently finish reading, what do you think you will read next?

What are you currently reading?

I’m in between books right now. I always try to keep myself to one book but I’m a ‘mood reader’ so depending on my mood I may pick more than one within a week.

  • The Boy from the Woods by Harlan Coben: The audiobook is very interesting, I enjoy the voices and the plot but I feel the author doesn’t move on from the scene. I have been stuck in the same day, within different hours and I feel the plot doesn’t move. I only need 2 more hours and I will finally be done! I just need to know the finale >-<
    Mood: give me a thriller
  • Have Mercy by Christina Lee: This author has written some amazing books – some of my favorite re-reads too. I’m only 9% into the book but I quite like the plot and I think I will enjoy the slow burn and the character development.
    Mood: give me a good slow burn
  • Oz by Lily Morton: I love Lily’s writing, I’m 18% into the book but I like both Oz and Silas, their initial meeting and banter is delightful.
    Mood: make me laugh.
  • So You Want a Baby by Anna Wineheart: I’m 35% into the book and struggling to DNF, this series has been a bit of a miss for me. I enjoy the characters but the plot has been all over the place, this is omegaverse so is not for everyone – but I personally like omegaverses, so I’m not giving out! ><
    Mood: give me patience to finish this.

What did you recently finish?

I just finished Boss Daddy’s Knots by Anna Wineheart and I ask myself, how the hell do these authors pick their book names!? This name is so embarrassing, and the book was also a huge let down which was sad because I liked the characters in other books.

And lastly, what do you think you’ll read next?

I hope to start Wolfsong by TJ Klune and Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman. I have been eyeing Wolfsong for awhile now but avoiding since is a bit angsty from what I’ve heard but now is a must – I listened to a small snip of the audio and I was hooked. Practical Magic is also a must because we are in a spooky month and I need to finally dive into this magical sisterhood bonding, love and witches.

What about you? What is your WWW?

  1. Ohh I’ve also been eyeing Wolfsong for awhile now, I’ll be excited to hear your thoughts on it! ♥ Also, Oz is such a cute book, but I think I enjoyed Milo, the sequel, a bit more! Hope you love all your reads! (:
